I cannot WAIT!!!! I am a geek too and was so obsessed with that show last year :)

I've been hyped up all night since finding out, and I am glad that I am not the only one obsessed with this show! I watched the "review of last season / preview of season 2" show and I am so looking forward to it! My husband thinks I am nuts for being so excited, but yet he was the one last season saying "don't watch it without me!" ;)

back in march they had a Marathon of the Ice road truckers on! So we spent the day watching them all! Got to the last epsisode, like 15 minutes left, WHAM,power goes off, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! lol Will be tivo'ing this season, love the show

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

I watched an episode (must of been a rerun I guess) but I have a feeling I'd be hooked too if I watched it more often. Another favourite of ours is Deadliest Catch and Lobster Men.

*gasp* heresy! :P

The best was the last two episodes where a dude interviews the guys in a diner after the first season had aired. I swear Jay and the dude who lost his battery while on a run were gonna come to blows. That, and I love the story about the guy who went to Yellowknife to get Alex's autograph. LOL

It really is sad how excited I am about season 2!

I love Deadliest Catch. I like Ice Road Truckers too. Only annoying thing about IRT is that they tend to repeat themselves a lot. Like I have seen the same computer animated truck fall in the lake like 032850328 times by the time I have gotten through the whole season. Otherwise, it is pretty cool. :D

hehe so true! I guess it's either to reinforce the point that this job is super dangerous, or to make sure that the people who hadn't seen it before sees the cool graphic.

Or they needed filler. ;)
