I can well understand how Dev feels right now. I am a man and Hillary supporter who thinks she will make the best President. That doesn't make me less angry than the women supporters of Hillary over yesterday's RBC decision.

The RBC gave each of the states what they were seeking. What's wrong with that?

What are they mad about by the way? I'm not seeing what the gripe is but I'm sure there must be another side to the story. We can't have all of this over 4 EVs can we?

I don't see the vitriol.

I saw it more of Uling questioned her motives for posting anti-obama threads (a legitimate question with party lines, but I suppose not out of charater for this election)

The response to me, seemed like a slap in the face and not answering the question at all. Being that Uling is a pretty upstanding guy and a friend - I thought the statement was rude.

In case I should have put some knd of disclaimer - this wasn't a *mod* statement. I was just posting my opinion. In the end - it really is a nonissue.

Sheriff & I are friends, off of VJ. We will continue to be so. I questioned his blanket statement & one-sided reply. Not vitriol.

Hope that .02 helped you unload a bit.

The blind devotion to the Messiah sure is stinking up VJ... This thread is plain evidence of that.

How many anti-HC threads on VJ now? Far more than anti-Oblahma. Mirror, anyone?

I agree that VJ's off topic contributors are biased towards Obama, or at least it seems that way. I don't know how representative they are of all of VJ or America, but I do see your point. And I know when the Dem nominee is chosen, it's going to switch to the majority being anti-McCain and those threads will abound.

I have a question if you don't mind me asking. Do you think the divide in the dem party is more significant than some want to admit? Do you know many other HRC supporters, and are they feeling the same way you are, and are you going to vote for Obama if he gets the nomination soon? I am trying to get an opinion on this from someone besides an Obama supporter.

Thanks for an intelligent question!

Most definitely there is a divide. I doubt it can be healed. There are plenty of polls saying many of her supporters will not vote for him.

link 1,

McCain vs. Clinton Clinton +2, McCain vs. Obama Obama +1 - How is it he is going to be the nom yet, he has lost almost every primary since the Wright fiasco? He is not even ahead in a general, yet he is seen as the inevitable nominee.

I will not vote for Obama. I cannot, in good faith, cast my ballot for someone I do not believe in one iota. He is as bad as Bush in my eyes. Considering I've voted Dem for every other election, this will be hard. I may go Independent, I may write in. Who knows?

A lot of people who support Obama on this board have stated before the primaries that they would support a Republican or a third party candidate if hillary was the candidate. There is a divide and it definitely goes both ways.

I'm not sure I understand that - HC has a lot more (politically) in common with BO than McC does.

Clearly its personal, rather than political. Which is just strange.

It shouldn't be a popularity contest.
