This is perhaps no news to the avid follower of immigration events but for the rest of us, only CSC and VSC will be processing I-751's from now on and there won't be any need to send to NSC or TSC anymore. You can view the USCIS press release on this change here (in pdf) or here (in html).

Thank you. We file in August.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

Note: Adjusting Status is from NON-Immigrant to Immigrant using form I-485. What you are talking about is removing conditions, there is no status change, the LPR is still an LPR.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

California has been red hot fast for us so far. I mailed my package from IL to them in CA last Saturday (keep in mind that this past Monday was a holiday) and they signed for it on Tuesday. We just checked our bank account yesterday and the checks had already been cashed. That took less then 1 week. We're hoping that I get my first NOA next week.

When we applied for my 2-year green card a few years ago it got transferred to California and was issued to me in less then 6 months. I'm hoping for 4 months on the 10-year green card. Call me optimistic but there's no harm in dreaming. :)
