For those of you who know your approaching interview date or have already had your interview, how soon after the NVC announces "Case Complete" can you call to ask about your date? What was your experience?

It depend when they are going to complete your case, usually they schedule second or third week of the month. Our case was completed on March 25th and I start to calling since the first week of month of April(just in case they schedule our interview ).

So they just received our DS-230 today and I imagine by the end of next week they will have reviewed our papers. Maybe the 2nd week, I can call an ask? I'm just so nervous about getting an interview by August 15!!!

Depends on consulate, some will schedule interview a few weeks after NVC completes processing, others can be months after.

After your case been complete you can call anytime. Relax dont be that stressed.

By my measure of timelines from Peru filers it has been somewhere between 40 and 60 days after case complete for the scheduled interview. If I get "Case Comple" this week I am hopiing for a July intereview.

In my case, my case complete was May 23rd. I've pestered my husband to call the NVC every other day to see if we have an interview date yet but everytime it's the same response, call back the 2nd week of the month. I've seen many VJers who got case complete around my date who already have their interview dates, so I'm guessing it depends on the Embassy too. Maybe for me, I really do have to wait til the 2nd week, which will be next week. Yipeee...

i just called NVC... i was eager to see if they scheduled an interview date for me

she basically said call bak in the second week of the month for the following month interview date

They told me the same thing but I kept calling every day and finally got my interview date in the last week of May, so they do schedule interviews all month long, not only in the second weeks.

I just hope our case is complete before then because I really don't want to wait until the 4th week of the month to find out about our interview! We're soooooo close!!! I pray that our case is completed this week!
