Oldest son now 21 I-130 filed by LPR dad ( as per NVC CSPA is applying here )

4/6/2010 letter from NVC arrives to son dated 3/4/2010
5/4/10 received AOS and DS3032 via email
9/22/10 Interview BOG Passed
10/3/10 POE JFK all went well

hi everyone, my fiance earns $30,000 a year, is this suffent where proof of income is concined, is this above the %125 poverty guide line? dont know how to calculate.

thank you for your quick response, fortunitly he lives alone and no one depends on him, so i guess he is way above the poverty guide line. wishing you all the best on your second interview.

Then he is well above the minimum guideline. Whether you will be fine or not is still up to the Consular officer. Obtaining a visa is not like getting a drivers license where passing objective tests assures a positive result. Much of the visa process is subjective evaluation of the totality of circumstances. This is particularly true on the Consulate end and even more so in high fraud countries.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
