hello!

I am a graduate student doing research on the Internet use in Morocco (only Morocco, please).

I would like to get some impressions and figures from MOROCCANS who can be my eyes and ears since I am not currently in Morocco.

Please take a few moments to respond to a few questions or contact me with additional information. ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!! I understand that we are all busy, but I would like to get as much information as possible to be able to get a more clear idea about my research topic.

If you go to an ("cyber" or "cyber cafe")/ internet cafe.....

1. What city or town is the "cyber"/internet cafe in?

2. What is the approximate population of the city or town? (I can research this, if you do not know)

3. Approximately how many computers are in the "cyber"? a.(less than 5?) b.(5-10?) c.(10-20?) d.(more than 20?)

4. Are you male or female?

5. How many "cybers"/internet cafes are in your city or town? ---Is this a guess or estimate? or is this a verifiable fact?

(Please let me know HOW you got this info...from a directory? from personal knowledge? etc. I would like to know HOW to find this information online, if possible.)

IF POSSIBLE:

6. If you are in a "cyber," can you PLEASE count the number of female computer users. How many male users?

If you count, please tell me what time of day you are counting and what day of the week it is.

For example, "On a Monday at 17:00, I see 5 females on the computer and 9 males."

or: "On a Thursday, from 8:00 in the morning to 10:30 in the morning, I saw 6 females and 10 males."

YOUR HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Please pass this email to others that may be interested. (Moroccan information only* --if you are a visitor in Morocco, do NOT include yourself in the count. If you are in a "tourist" cyber, try and count Moroccan users only, if possible.)

If you are interested in sending quotes, do I have your permission to publish your name?

Please contact me at stoptheaquarius @ gmail.com

THANK YOU!

julie

Using VJers for a research topic? :bonk: This is an Immigration web site.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
