Beware! mlagifts.com false advertising

Hello Fellow VJ'ers.

I just wanted to put out a warning about using a company called www.mlagifts.com for shipping anything to your fiancée in the Philippines. I ordered Gem some gifts for her birthday last week from different vendors. The balloons were ordered through mlagifts.com I paid for some really fancy balloons and when she showed me them on cam I was shocked. When I showed her the photos from mlagifts webpage on what she should have received, she could not believe it! Not even a close comparison. I know these companies sometimes substitute items when they have to , but these balloons they sent her didn't even come close to the ones I ordered. The ones she received weren't worth half the price I paid. I tried to contact mlagifts several times this week via their website and also through my email to complain about the shipment, and I am being totally ignored by them. I will never use them again to send anything to the Philippines and just a word of caution, you also should think twice before using them for your gift giving needs. All the other companies I used sent exactly what I ordered, no substitutions. But mlagifts didn't even contact me to say they needed to send something different. I wouldn't have even complained, but if you guys seen what they sent her and what I ordered, you would understand what I mean. So my friends, be careful using mlagifts...Frank

You probably paid by credit card over the internet, right? Call your credit card company to dispute the charge when you get your bill. They'll contact the mlagifts. They are responsible to send what you've paid for. If they dont respond to the credit card company you automatically get your money back (assuming that is what you are requesting). And if they respond and say they sent something different, not what you ordered, then you can get a portion back.

Stick it to them! Let them learn that deceptive practices are not tolerated here!

thanks for the warning. my husband always send me dozens of roses with teddy bears and chocolates using telefloraphilippines, www.myflowerdepot.com and www.flora2000.com. They deliver their roses fresh and they deliver their stuff as exactly as what you can see in their pic online. Try those companies next time

Thanks for the advise and also, thanks Pink, for those websites. I just checked them out and they have very nice items there. The old saying, "we learn by our mistakes" applies here. But I have used the other online vendors before without a problem, this was the very first time using mlagifts. But what really angers me is they never responded to my several emails. That's bad business. Anyway, thanks again Frank
