Girlllll, we want it to pass quickly....heh heh.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

i know! Did i forget to tell you about my boards? Doreen brought me 4 10'x1' boards from an old chicken house this morning. I got them home and assembled the largest raised garden in my yard yet. I moved my smaller frame over to the toher side and now I am set minus the few I wanted to put in for potatoes and sweet potatoes. Was considering corn, but if I do that I;'ll need to build a new bed since it takes up so much space and is so low-yield too. You know Ammar was so funny. he decided to grow corn one year at their house and complained to me that the birds ate his corn. i asked him if the corn ears were picked apart and he said no... but he was sure birds had gotten it. I asked him how he planted his corn and he said he did it like a fence around the perimeter of his yard. Ha! I was like, well that was your problem right there! Imagine not planting it in blocks. Anyway, I was thinking about corn or popcorn... I have seed for both and the popcorn I have is awesome-- I have either strawberry or carousel, the latter resembling "indian corn" of decoration. Anyway, I need to make a decision in the next week.

Oh also? i asked her about canning... if she knew how. i just thought to ask her this morning. She said last night she thought about canning for the first time in years and decided she didn't know what to do anymore, although she had done it in the past. So I asked her if I went there with some instructions, if she would know what to do. She said yes. So Sometime in the future I may have a canning date. I need someone to show me what to do... reading instructions for something like this isn't as good as seeing it.

Oh, well yeah, you have to work on a little girl in order to give some of the other little boys in MENA a hopeful match... and also so you can regain your 100 camels.

It sounds serious. He may have to go see a specialist in cases of cuteness. I just happen to be one... I'll see him for free, no office charge.

Let's make an appointment to come in to your office :) I attempted a cute-ectomy this morning, but it all grew back by suppertime.

Morning everyone!!! On my way to work on two hours of sleep, insomia and storm kept me awake. OMG Yassmine is Butterball ever adorable. Wow is he gonna have women chasing him when he is older.

And Ill be right behind them with a baseball bat. Any lil girl who breaks my baby boys heart, ooooh Ill be all over her like white on rice.

Jack, this storm is scaring me, especially since the puppy is getting his manhood cut off in the middle of it.....the poor dog hates thunder, i dont know how he is gonna survive tonite...i cried leaving him there, i had no idea he had to stay 24 hours..ahhh i dont like this one bit

I can totally identify. I used to have a lovely little dog who was terrified of storms. I made him a tent from a couple of boxes and bathtowels next to my bedside table. It worked quite well at deflecting thunder. And I remember the first time I had to leave him overnight at the vet. Argh I was a total wreck the whole next day at work.

oh mah gawsh gabi..he is soooooooooooooooooooooo cute .. he has daddies mouth and I believe mommies eyes!!! I am gonna come see u again soon..hopefully in the next few weeks but I'm not too sure yet. i'll come vegggg out at ur pad and chat! deal? him and the pineapple princess would make beautiful pineapple butterballs!!!

He's always up for cuddles. He's starting to give out those hearty belly laughs now too.

Go with the carousel, Julianna. As for the canning, it is too bad you did not live closer. My 85 y/o mother canned for just about all of her life. She is quite the expert and would gladly teach you.

As a child, I hated canning season because she would make me help her peel the tomatoes . Of course she would scald them, and it burned my hands. I grumbled and protested, but to no avail. I could'nt get out of it no matter what. The memories are haunting me as I type this even... She made me sit on a stool at the kitchen sink and peel until near exhaustion. I despised it so much I never really was interested in learning the canning process. To this day it just turns me off.
