Hello everybody i'm a newbie here. I just feel so bad after waiting more than 4 months. i'm a march filer. we followed everything that said on Visajourney checklist but still we got and RFE. I checked my status at USCIS last sunday july 20,2008 it was said that on July 19,2008 they sent us REquest for additonal Evidence and until now my fiance haven't received that notice they sent. how long will it take for my fiance to received that notice??we've been waiting for 5 days now and my fiance is residing in Yakima,Washington.hope anybody/anyone can answer my question.Thank you and i'm so happy for those march filers that receievd their approval. pls pray for us. thank you and God bless everyone.

Yakima! I live about an hour from there :P Keep being patient hon. You may not have to wait THAT long, even though you need to give them more information. I have to say, I'm not sure how long it will take... You can probably call USCIS and ask them what was missing so that you can prepare it and have it ready for when the packet arrives. Just my thought :D

Thank you. Can i ask what's the USCIS phone number? we are patiently waiitng as what everybody does. It was said that the timeline of sending mail within US in 3-4 days and mail go there everyday and he haven't received it yet. to be exact it's already 6 days since they mail that notice.hope we can receive it anytime soon. thank you guys.i'll be in touch..God bless everybody

Sorry to hear that you got an RFE, but I think that you're fiance should be receiving the notice very soon. Sorry that I dont have more info for you, I'm sure someone will be able to point you in the right direction though. Good luck!!

Sorry to hear that you got an RFE, but I think that you're fiance should be receiving the notice very soon. Sorry that I dont have more info for you, I'm sure someone will be able to point you in the right direction though. Good luck!!

Hi Caity, im ealry march filers but til now we did not recieve the approval yet ,it was just touched once last july23rd but still nothing change till now. So dont loose hope yours are coming too.

Hello meljesca, it is nice to meet you. Wecome to vj. Although I have no answers, I do want you to know that we will all be here to support you. I am no expert, but I have been around here for a while. Anything that I am familiar with, I will offer help with. I will also keep you in my prayers. I feel hopeful that your fiance will be receiving the RFE either today or maybe tomorrow. Since it went out on the 19th, which was Saturday, it probably did not move at all again until Monday, so actually, you might be better to think of it as just starting actual postal mail transit this past Monday. This is only Friday, so I am praying that it will arrive today or tomorrow. Good luck to you.

Our petition was touched today!

Although- this is my thought. The guy started looking at our petition, realized it was 5:00 PM, told his wife he´d be home for supper by 5:30. So... he put down our petition and will continue looking at it on Monday, leaving me anxious and checking my email every 5 minutes. haha.

Or.....the one who's working on your papers is still looking through it and will send you the approval later.that was what happened to our case,i saw it was touched and in less than an hour the approval email was sent :dance:
