Does he think you should pay for the visa process?

Emmett Fitz-Hume: I'm sorry I'm late, I had to attend the reading of a will. I had to stay till the very end, and I found out I received nothing... broke my arm.

Yes, plus he say he is going to send me some money for me helping out and he doesn't. Sometimes I get mad because I think how am I going to deal that while I am there without working.

How to deal with a cheap boyfriend?

Strange question for the K1 forum lol.

I just wanted the ladies opinion about this topic. Yes, I know that I didn't wrote so much explanation. But the situation is that he's avoiding helping me out and it really bother me, because I know he has a good salary and he lives in their parents house so he doesn't have to pay rent.

 That's sad, really.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

The two things that strike me immediately are:

1. At this point, you shouldn't have a boyfriend; you should have a fiance.

2. From what little you've given us... "He has a good salary. Therefore he should give me money." Greedy much?

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

You can either accept him that way or move on. Don't think that you can "fix" him later.

Not sure what is going on, but it seems there is a problem with communication. If you can’t resolve this, than you need to really think hard, because marriage won’t change him, and if you are not happy now, than it won’t get better when you are married, and you have this resentment in your heart. If you don’t clear the air, this will come back later, in a agreement, trust me, I know. So try to talk to him, maybe write a heartfelt letter to see if you two can at least be on the same page. Good luck sweetie.

yeah how come you're on a K1 visa process and he's your boyfriend?

As for the money, how did you use to support yourself? Get a grip. He's not obligated to send you money. As for how you're gonna support yourself once you're in the States, well, you guys will be getting married, living together', so while you don't have a job you'll have food, a place to live, you say his job pay well, I'm sure you'll be fine.

Do you not work?

I'm sorry but it sounds like someone is having a little tantrum of some sort, because they're not getting their own way, because their boyfriend isn't paying them? I'm lost for words...............

Did you both listed the expenses and decided what was going to be paid by who?

If you do not have all this planned, maybe you are still on time to do it, he may be assuming that you can take care of all the same way you are assuming he can.

When you move to the US you will find you can make more money here but you also expend more money here than in our countries.
