still waiting for fiance visa from italy

Good evening all:

my fiance, Salah had his interview last friday in Naples Italy. He had his interview, everything went well according to him, they took his passport and took his fingerprints. They told him to come back at 4:00pm. At 4:oo pm they told my fiance that there were 50 applicants that day and that they would send his passport back to Florence via Courrier. He thought it would only be a few days. Well it is now almost a week and no word for the agencia( the courier company). Salah my fiance called them today-Thursday and they said they have not recieved his passport from the Italian Consulate. Is this normal? Should I be worried or is this just Italy being slow.. I really miss my fiance and every day is starting to drive me into madness. Any thoughts?

Has he called the embassy? It normally does take 3-5 business days so it may even come today, plus - bank holiday Monday counts as 4 business days this week..I would get him to call the embassy on Monday next week if he still hasn't received it. Don't worry you will both be fine and with each other very very soon :) congratulations :thumbs:
