Loterly's plane landed about 520pm (40 minutes ahead of schedule). She was able to text me from the plane with her Globe roaming service that she got in Manila. It took almost 20 minutes before she was off the plane (it was very crowded) around 6pm. Her arrival terminal was #8 for American Airlines. She went to the visitor lane and her visa processing with the immigration officer (he was very nice) was not more then 2 minutes, she received the EAD stamp after another 2 minutes and then picked up her baggage. Remember to have 3 one dollar bills for a luggage cart if you will need one. She was waved right through customs and met me (flowers and balloon in my hands) in the waiting area by 615pm. Overall a very good experience and very quick.

Things have been going great after her arrival on Saturday. As a surprise we had a small party with my parents and my brother and his wife and children at a nice restaurant in the Bronx. She noted that the portions were huge more then one person could really eat. Afterwards we drove home and she spent Sunday and Monday getting to know my parents and her new family as well as lots of time spent with eachother. She has had no problems adjusting to the time change and weather. She finds it really comfortable here. On Tuesday we made her first real visit to Manhatten as I had a Dr's appt downtown. After the Dr's we went to Times Square and just walked around seeing some of the sites. Everything has been wonderful since her arrival and we are absolutely happy together. Our love for eachother just got stronger during the time that we were apart. We picked up the marriage license today but we have adjusted our wedding date to sometime in the near future as we both want my brother and his family to attend and we need a little more time to put everything together. Thanks again for the information and support that Lot and I got from some of the wonderful people who visit this site. We will continue to update after we submit our AOS.

Thanks for sharing with us Ate Lhots arrival in US...

Kuya Richard and Ate Lhot Congratulations!!! and this is it... YOU WILL BE FOREVER TOGETHER!!!

God bless you!!!

Happy Wedding!!!

Richard,

First of all our congratulations on Lot's arrival there, without hassles :)

She sent me offline messages in yahoo telling me how happy and overwhelmed she is by your family's reception. She is just so happy to be with you again. Love does do wonders and I am so happy for you both being reunited again after the long process of the K1.

Our best wishes on your incoming wedding and hopefully we will have time to catch up when you guys come to Florida to see disneyworld.

Welcome to the USA Lot
