My fiance was in the military. Has anyone been through this? Were they put into Administrative processing? How long did it take, etc.?

I don't know specifically what SAO's my finace is undergoing. I know he has had two FBI name checks and per Chris, who btw, is a really nice person at DOS the consulate has requested checks from one or more outside agencies in Washington. He stated it is normal for these checks to take one year or longer.

Long and short, who knows, it is a ####### shoot. All I can do is say a prayer and hope urs is a short wait. Believe in God and miracles will happen, but in his time not ours.

My now husband underwent SAO Donkey check according to a paper they gave him after his interview in Casa. I guess it was because he was a teacher- government employee- in Morocco. His AP lasted less than 3 weeks.

That's the best news I've heard.
