Hey guys!

I log on to VJ almost everyday and I thought it would be kinda fun if all the May filers at VSC could have a thread to get to know each other. Compare timelines and maybe share ideas for making the time pass a bit quicker *I know it's going by entirely too slow for me*

I've seen it done with different groups before, so I'm gonna start one for us :)

I'll tell you guys a bit about Bo and I:

I'm in New Brunswick Canada and he's in Raleigh NC - we met online during game play (although either of us really play games often* a, and it was due to a smart ### comment I made about his deep voice in our guild's vent channel that got us talking. Who knew being a smart ### would come in handy :)

We have entirely too much in common, and entirely too much fun :) I may even be able to convince him to come here and be a Canadian one day too :)

Although I'm UBER excited to be down there with him, there are things I will miss about my beloved Maritimes and Canada in general:

Tim Horton's coffee

Poutine (fries covered in cheese and gravy - YUM)

Canadian Beer *tear*

Being so close to the water

"eh"

Making fun of Ontarians and Westies

My family and friends

You will notice that "cold and tons of snow" are not on that list....because I will NOT be missing those anytime soon (we finally got rid of the last of our winter snow at the END of APRIL)

Anyway, hopefully we can keep this thread going and support each other through the process...I think it will be easier knowing we're not the only ones!

Nice to meet you Jen. Chantal is from the Sherbrooke, QC area, and she is going to miss Poutine as well. But, we plan on transporting plenty of "squik squik" Cheese with us so that we can make it in Virginia. She and I met playing Spades on Yahoo, so it seems like we've got a lot in common.

Anyway, we filed our I-129F just about two weeks ago to the day, and havent heard a word yet.

Nice to "meet" you both, and look forward to talking with you in the weeks and months ahead,

Ryan
