Hi everyone,

I'm trying to gather everything I need for the I-134, but I'm having some trouble. This is my situation:

I am a college student, and I currently hold 3 jobs. Obviously I don't make enough to support my fiance, but my Dad has agreed to be a Co-sponsor. Now- my parents file taxes jointly, so will they both be co-sponsors? Tax returns of theirs would be together- so would they both have to fill out the I-134? I guess I'm just concerned that it will look like I have two co-sponsors and then they won't accept it. Has anyone run into this issue?

Also- I know that I, personally, need to fill out the I-134 as well, but I'm just wondering what I should do as far as letters of employment go, since I have a few jobs- none of which I receive a huge income. Should I still include my tax transcrips from the past three years and letters of employment? It's all a little gray to me- because the Juarez consulate in Mexico does not actually require the I-134 so I'm trying to do my best to know what to include. And now when I go to the Juarez consulate's website, I can't access the "Fiance Visa Packet" so I have no idea what I'm really supposed to include.

Ok- I hope this question made sense and that someone can help me. I just want to make sure I do this all right, and I'm going to see my fiance in a month, and so I'd really like to have all these papers ready to give to him when I go down there. Thanks sooo much for your help!!

You don't have to submit employment letters since your parents are co-sponsoring, they would need to submit their letter of employment. I assume just one of them can be a co-sponsor (someone can correct me if I am wrong) and they would need to make enough to support both of them and one more person (your fiance/wife). You can go to the Uruguay or some other consulate and download the info - its all the same. Good Luck
