Hi Everyone,

I am trying to get everything together to file my husband's AOS. I have a few questions though. Some of the evidence requested is redundant of what we needed for his K-1 visa. Do we need to send all of this again?? Do we have to submit an Affidavit of Support again, G-325A, and copies of all of his police reports, etc. It is no problem to do this, but just annoying since we have filed all of this before, they should have all the information from the package we submitted at POE. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Thanks in advance for your help!!!

Not all of this... you don't need to submit police reports usually. But you have to include affidavit of support in different form, G-325A, photos, etc. Oh, the new one is marriage certificate

Do not submit duplicate copy of G-325A that you used for K-1, you need to update address, new name if any he wants to use, etc.

Good luck!

You are submitting a new application so all the evidence asked for will be needed to be sent with your AOS, and EAD or AP as applicable. This meas a new G325a, birth certificates, passport pictures, etc. Eventually there will be a third finger print scan.

The G-325A will definitely be different because the most present address will be in USA! Also date will be different when signing.

Yes there will be a lot of copies of what you already sent in but that's legal immigration for you! :star:
