K-1 AOS

On my visa, I understand that the red number is my 'visa number', but what is my A number that the G-325A, I-765. etc asks for? I think the I-765 asks for this OR my I-94 number; I see several numbers on my I-94, I've got a Departure Number and a K-1 CAR number. Which one do I use for the I-765?

I'd really appreciate someone clarifying this for me, it's a complicated process.

"A number" is the alien registration number that USCIS assigned you already. You can find it on I-129F NOA2 and K1 Visa. Starts with A, like "A12 345 678." Here's the useful link that shows the picture...

Ahh, there it is. There is an extra zero in front of the number on my NOA2, but I omitted it as it wasn't on my Visa. Thank you!

My other question was for 'Other Names Used'. I never use the full version of my first name as it appears on my birth cert, so my signature, employment records, etc are all with the 'short version', i.e. Elizabeth = Betty.

So should/can I include "Betty (Short version of first name)" or "Betty (Short version of Elizabeth)"?

I have never used the full version of my first name, so I'm at a loss as to whether I should include that or not, and how to phrase it.
