I don't like heat for the sake of it. Sometimes that is just covering up mediocre cooking. I just like the flavors and food that is cooked well, with many spices isn't always necessarily really hot.

I do it all the time to the point where it's my trademark style. Not enough salt, too much everything else.

yeah, my brother-in-law likes to eat the spiciest and hottest things possible... then his face goes all red and he starts choking but he continues to eat it

my hubby likes that stuff on occasion.. he says the different hot sauces have different uses..

He likes Tabasco sauce or red chili flakes too...

Tabasco for me. The best on pizza!

For curries I use green chilies. The Indian waiter always looks at me like I nuts, when I cut them up at the table at my local Indian place.
