I am not sure how big the bars are.... I have never bought them down here.. I have just bought the big tub...

but if you already buy the butter flavoured I wouldn't worry about mixing it with margarine/butter...

so according to the Crisco site one bar is 20 ounces which is about 2 1/2 cups... so what would be 3/4 of 2 1/2 cups? can't figure it out ...lol

if i remember correctly, is 3/4 of a bar, 1.25 cups of brown sugar, 1.75 cups of flour, 1 egg, vanilla, baking soda and salt.. and the chocolate morsels

my recipe calls for 1 cup of shortening, 1 1/2 cups of flour, 2/3 cup sugar (half brown/half white), 2 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips., plus 2 cups oatmeal..

ok just remembered taht this recipe is for chocolate chip oatmeal cookies.. lol
