Have you ever seen a program called Pan Desi on Colours channel? We just got dish network so we have that channel now and watched Pan Desi a couple times...ummm not sure what to say about it.

Nope never heard of it. I don't have Dish.

Ok...well it stinks.

Almost all desi programming on TV stinks.

Almost all desi programming on TV stinks.

The channel has different international programming, like stuff about China too, so Pan Desi is only on an hour per day I think. We tuned it to see what it was, and the first time we did it was Indian young people performing bollywood style dances at Ohio State univ, and they mostly danced very badly and it was just funny. I don't understand it really. We are so disconnected from the Indians in the US and seeing things like this makes Sujeet glad about that. lol.

This is why I'm glad I have my own job and my own money. I can buy whatever I want as long as I have money. If I'm foolish enough to spend it all on ####### I don't need then it only hurts me. Which I've done from time to time. :lol:

Well we have certain bills we each pay. It's not like I spend all my money on stuff for me. I pay our house payment every month which is the bulk of my check. I have to have money to get my hair done. I usually only have about $50 left over to just blow on things. Javi makes lots more money than I do so he pays more of the bills than me. But he also has lots more money left over which means he gets more things.

I think the key is to marry someone who shares your financial priorities. If that happens, then you no longer need the back and forth of whether I can or can't.

We find our situation works out very well for us too. Both of us always have money if we need it. It has taught us to be more careful about what we spend. When we had our joint account it was too hard to keep up with what we were both spending. This way we always know how much money we have.
