Just booked my flight to Charlotte  Leaving on August 22nd  It was really quite expensive with $1200...It's going to be worth it though!

Ooh! Congratulations! Is this for good or just a visit?

So, the other day when I decided to be a good girl and do yard work I discovered that I have fruit bearing cherry trees. I don't have a ladder, so I stretched and jumped and grabbed branches and pulled them down (apparently cherry tree branches are rather flexible) so I could pick cherries. I ended up with a huge basket full. But, I popped a rib out of place.

So, I have to work tonight at 5 but I'm going to the chiro at 2:40 to have the rib popped back into place.

Needless to say, Booty, I feel your pain over sleep loss. I haven't really slept lately either. Ugh.

Ouch for the rib!!!! I hope it's not fractured!!!

As for my trip to Charlotte - not for good :D A few more years and we will think about who moves where when. I am not crazy about living in the States (no offense to anyone) and would rather stay in Europe - Ireland, UK, maybe even stay in Germany. For now we just see each other every 2/3 months - it's not ideal but we both can live with it.

What's the matter, Stina?

eta: Oh, I see

It doesn't seem real at the moment.

If I don't show up for a while at least you know where I'll be :)

I hope we won't lose you as a regular - although we certainly can't blame you for eventually abandoning us

BTW - I just found the link to your website on your profile, now I finally know what you and Patrick look like!

Hee hee. We're totally cute :)

Oh I will still be a regular. I'm hooked now. Besides, I need something to do on the days when my students are writing and active teaching isn't necessary.

@Booty...I meant to say earlier that i loved your story about Daisy. That's how I feel about my dog too.

my hubby hates going shopping with me because I sit there and try and figure out what is the best deal..

I have never gotten into using coupons though...

my grandma was a coupon fanatic.. if she had a coupon for something she would buy it even if she never used that product ...

***********************

can't they invent something that lets the dishes wash themselves.. oh wait.. they already do.. a dishwasher... :P

See I did coupons a couple of years ago and got into the habit of buying things I never used. I vowed not to do that this time. We went to the store the other day and saved $38. I was so excited. I usually try to buy things that are on sale already plus use my coupon. I got a bottle of downy yesterday for $2.75. It was on sale 2/$7.00 and I had a coupon for $0.75.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

Stina: I see you love coupons. I totally do too. Where do you get most of yours? I've been buying the paper and going to coupons.com. Just wondering if you had another place I could get coupons.

Hehe. Well I haven't bought the paper for coupons but I want to. I use couponsurfer.com sometimes. I want more coupons than I get! And yeah sometimes the coupons are for things I don't need. :( Boo!

Also once you have a baby, all different companies send you coupons and I love that. Lately I have a lot of good baby food coupons sent to me in the mail, and I just love when I don't even have to ask for them. Sometimes coupons still don't make something cheaper than the generic or similar brand, and that's a bummer. lol.

Wow!!$38? I've saved maybe $6 at a time on a grocery trip. :crying: See, I am noob with coupons and have not gone the newspaper route. i need to!!!
