We had sunshine for 3 days in a row.

Now my grass is about 8 inches high. Seriously. It grew overnight. Apparently I will have to go cut it.

just wait til your guy gets here and have him do it

I'm afraid my house will be overtaken. I have a HUGE multilevel back yard with blackberries, strawberries and fruit trees. Right now I can still get to the mint and tarragon but if I don't do something before Wednesday....

wow, i got blackberries and raspberries..you have a cool yard, little sister

We've got blackberries and strawberries. Just across our property line there are blueberries. I can't wait for our blackberries to ripen. I'm going to make freezer jam and possibly some cobblers. Yummy! Plus, I'm going tomorrow to a blueberry festival to get blueberries so I can make blueberry jam also.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

If I mow the lawn and weed the berries, can I buy a new wedding dress?

If I mow the lawn and weed the berries, can I buy a new wedding dress?

I had bought a wedding dress off of ebay, kept it for a couple months and then decided I didn't like it anymore. I resold it on ebay and made a profit! I then decided to wear the Indian style stuff and Sujeet had it made for me over in India. I don't know if you spent a lot on your dress, or if you could get it's worth off of ebay, or if it's really fancy and hard to replace, but if it's not any of those, why not find something else that you might like even though it's last minute? And if it's not an expensive replacement?

For my "say anything contribution" I am working up the energy to make cream puffs, but I cannot shake my headache... hopefully later cuz a cream puff would be just loverly about now. :P

Oh I'd love a cream puff! I just ate some oreos for my sweet tooth.

I wish I had just *one* item that I could munch on for now (as in I open the bag/box & eat!). Sometimes I don't feel like cooking!!! Del made some weird indian spiced okra thing. I guess I will eat that. :hehe:

hehe...I am not a big fan of okra. I'll eat it, but don't like it that much.

@booty: I am making apple mint jelly soon and I can't wait! I also want those darn blackberries to ripen. The strawberries were yummy!

@Parivar: he dress wasn't expensive and it's in keeping with the wedding theme. I just don't "feel" it if that makes any sense. Plus, I need to shorten it, but there's a great deal of embroidery at the bottom so I'll have to remove the skirt from the bodice and shorten it there. I have no idea what my problem is.

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
