They have an estimate of how much grout to pump, but they have to continue until the void is filled...someone I knew said they put in double what the estimate was. So that adds days.

Scary! My subdivision had 2 sinkholes on the street (small ones) and my insurance company nearly had a heart attack. They found out because they were doing an inspection on my house and saw the crew working on them :innocent: . I worked for them at the time and my underwriter called me in his office. I swear I could see him sweating!

Very unsettling though (no pun intended). I hope it's cleared in a few days.

I know they didn't even call any of my references because then they would have found out what a great person I am :P they are missing out ... :whistle:

they just seemed more concerned with having local references...

I know how that feels cause as an aussie in the uk, none of my references were from here. Not looking fwd to starting again when I get to the US.

Are you able to get any local references? Maybe by doing some babysitting etc for friends?

I got hired by an agency a few months ago and they didn't seem phased by my Canadian references and called everyone of them up.... of course I havne't heard from them since.. although they send me a belated Birthday card last week... only a month and half late... :blink::lol:

btw hello everyone!

I'm stuck going to a country music concert tonight because my friend couldn't find anyone else go to with her after the person who was supposed to be going had something come up or something. anyways, I can do country music but I don't know if I can do a whole concert. I told her she had to promise there would be no cowboy hats. she said there will be loads of them. :help:

It depends on who it is if I could do a whole concert or not. But yeah, I'd say there will be an overload of cowboy hats and boots. It's what they do. :lol:
