Hey, good morning!

Lucky you!! This godless country doesn't sell bacon rolls anywhere. You have to go to the deli and buy bacon there (they don't have it in my local supermarket!), go home and fry it yourself! Can you imagine that? Also hard to find - baked beans! :help:

But they have schnitzel with fries in the canteen today and I am seriously considering it. Woah.

What do you do for a living, Dairy? Gym at work sounds nice.

I supposedly work in finance specialising in the retention of clients, but they brought us in too early so I'm bored to tears. Still means lots of time on the web, even if gmail and facebook are blocked.

My company is Capita Hartshead, but we are working at Aegon Scottish Equitable on a pilot (Edinburgh). They have a gym, a restaurant/cafeteria, a cafe, a newsagency. I think its pretty swish, so I'm not as yet looking forward to commuting to Coventry to work on a different pilot for AXA.

So which country are you in at present? And what do you do?

I hate being bored at work. I wish I could at least bring in a book, but that would be too obvious. There is only that much you can do on the internet to entertain yourself.

I live and work in Frankfurt. I work for an investment bank as management assistant/ Corporate Event coordinator. But due to the credit crisis there are no events and my boss is actually not part of the management anymore, so I am really more of a PA now. With hardly anything to do. I am so underchallenged here. This is the perfect job for an assistant who enjoys varnishing her fingernails at her desk, who likes two hour lunches and who enjoys coming in late and leaving early. A year ago I had 55+ hrs. work week and was a busy bee. I loved it. The good old days.

Just had the schnitzel with chips...the chips were ok, the schnitzel tasted so much like pork, I could not eat it. Yeah well, it was a pork schnitzel, d'oh!

I honestly never thought I could get bored doing nothing. But I'm going nuts.

 But to be fair pork is not bacon.

What do you do for a living, Dairy? Gym at work sounds nice.

We have a gym at work, but I've never been there. It's in the basement, but it's always empty. I don't know if it's because everyone in that building is a lazy a$$ or if it's because we have free access to the other 2 fitness center on base, and they have way more equipment.

We are pretty lucky here. Two big areas for classes. An area for circuit training, one for free weights, one for weight machines and another for cardio. Lots of classes and even PT if you are that keen.

But its here mostly to make people want to work here. We are in "the Gyle" which is quite a distance from the CBD.
