I'm not much into grits although one time I did make some really good tomato grits-with plenty of cheese of course. I think since this would be a special occasion you should definitely do the pancakes! And I can make fresh squeezed OJ to go with it all...

Only the most awesomest food ever!

ok i'm cming over this weekend

I just google mapped you guys, 900+ miles from boone! Damn!

I'm not even in Boone either. Actually, from NJ, I might be closer. I'm 30 minutes from Boone. I'm closer to TN.

900 miles was from Leavenworth KS to Boone NC. It's less than 600 miles from where I am.

Ah, gotcha! AJ you have no excuse then. I'd drive 600 miles for cheesy grits.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

The irony is, I could find pancakes and bacon right here but I doubt any place around here serves cheesy grits!

Hmmm what about drinks? I had this thing a couple weeks ago called a caipirinha (spelling?) and it was really yummy!

They said it was Brazilian but not sure if that's actually true or not.

Yeah that was it-I remember I liked it a lot. Can't remember all the flavors it had but there was definitely guava.
