Good morning. Today really needs to get better soon!

What's up? My day is going ok so far. I can see it dragging though because there is no one in my office today. Just a couple of us so there is nothing to do. Plus, mom rode to work with me and you know how I feel about that. :lol:

I will be extremely busy today and tomorrow because when everyone else slacks to get their work done, I'm the one who gets piled on at the end. I'm disappointed because I thought Friday would be the perfect time for Edwin to meet my parents but now it looks like he's not ready to do that yet.

Don't let the sunshine spoil your rain...just stand up and COMPLAIN!

Awww, that sucks! Is he scared they'll be ugly to him? Or not like him? I'm sure they'll think he's a great guy. I've never really been in that situation. Mom met Javi by chance one day. We had gone to eat lunch together and someone hit my car in the parking lot. I went to mom's office to call it in so she met Javi then. Wasn't expecting it to happen that way. She wasn't nice either. But that's because of the circumstances surrounding our relationship anyway. A completely other story that you know already and I'm not getting into on here. Maybe he'll come around by then. You've still got 2 days for him to change his mind. I'll say a prayer for you.

I think I found the perfect job... it is taking care of a 8 month old... Monday to Friday 1pm to 4pm and the pay is 10 to 15 dollars an hour...

that would mean about an extra 800 bucks a month.. :thumbs:

Thanks! I guess he's afraid since we haven't told them anything yet. He wants me to have told them about him beforehand. And I'm a little worried about that too-this is the first time I ever kept a boyfriend hidden. But I realized that you know once you're out of high school you're not exactly obligated to bring every single boyfriend home for mom and dad approval. Also I decided that I would just say I didn't feel it was appropriate to bring him around until the divorce actually occurred. I'm still worried about the whole infidelity aspect of it, which you can tell them all you want that both me and Javier agreed to do it this way, but to them it would still be "wrong."

hola all....back to work for a day and off till tuesday//////i see allot of work upcoming for me...fence needs putting up..closets....cleaning out the garage........and mowing our rice paddy..and 2 lawns too boot

Yeah, I understand that. Well hopefully they'll be open minded enough to accept him. You're exactly right, you don't have to take every bf home to meet the parents. As far as I'm concerned that should be left for the one you feel is the right one. So maybe you could explain that to them. I know it's hard for you to talk to your parents anyway. I think they'll be happy you have found someone else to make you happy. I'm sure, as parents, your happiness is very important to them. It'll all work out in the end.
