EEEwwww I hate guns. I can't even look at them. I definately can't stand to be in a room with them. I just can't stop thinking about how they can blow someone's head off.

I feel the same way about snakes!! Just not about them blowing heads of, because they obviously can't - but them leaping forward with their nasty heads and biting people with their fangs! Ewwwww!!!

I have mixed feelings on guns. I have never shot one or held one, and don't want to. I don't want one in my house because of scary stories of kids accidentally getting a hold of them. But I don't think it's scary for people to own them in general. I am for gun restrictions(things to prevent someone crazy or criminal like the V tech guy from buying them) but don't support the outlaw of all guns since it is in our constitution. While we may not personally know how the men felt when they wrote that in the constitution (we don't know because we are lucky), we should try to remember why they did. That's my 2 cents. :)

oii the bourne movies are pretty cool

I like those. We watched all three at home right after Kavi was born.

not the new one..

yesterday I watched I am Legend.. it was ok.. not as good as they tried to hype it.. but it was entertaining.. also at work I watched Airplane! always a classic

I was not thrilled with I am Legend either. It creeped me out in parts, but I am very easily creeped out.

Did you watch all 3 already? One of my favorite scenes(from 2nd or 3rd?) is in Waterloo Station with the reporter.

I only watched 1 & 2 and thought the first one was better. How was the 3rd?

I ate sashimi for lunch, but my stomach is not liking it. I think I am over sushi. :dead:

Got work to do (translations), but I am lazy and I am browsing for nice homes to buy for Pedro and me (not that we are planning on living in the same country anytime soon, as much as we would love that!). I just like looking at housing and comparing prices - my boss is the head of Residential Mortages Germany, so we all enjoy looking at Real Estate Markets

I tend to compare prices in Melbourne, Charlotte, Frankfurt, Dublin and Edinburgh. US Real Estate prices amaze me. I found lovely one storey, 3 bedroom/2 bathroom houses with garage, pretty close to the city for something between $100,000 - $150,000. That is really not much. For that price you can't even get a one bedroom apartment in Frankfurt.

Leaving the office in half an hour for a pedicure and foot massage

$100,000 to $150,000 isn't too bad. My house is a three bedroom and 2 bath one story ranch style. It has a full basement with part of it partially finished (sheetrock but not painted). The last time we had it appraised, which was about 4 months ago, it appraised for $280,000. I was shocked. Housing prices in this area are ridiculous considering I live in the "boonies".

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!
