arrg, hubby and I just got back form our camping trip a few hours ago and we wanted to spend the rest of the day just relaxing.. well, hubby's brother called a couple of times and of course we didn't answer the phone well a few minutes after the last phone call we hear a honk and he is outside  don't people realize that their is maybe a reason we are not answering our phone??

I know why he is so anxious to talk to my hubby too because he left a message on our phone yesterday informing us that it was a very special day because he was going to Steven Segal's house

a few months ago he joined Steven Segal's son's Dojo, the main reason being so that he could hopefully meet and become friends with Steven Segal... he is a total stalker  now all he is going to be talking about for months is how he went to his house

Hehehe I love those faces for trees - I think they're cute:-). Looks like you had a great time camping - too bad you were waylaid just after arriving home. The bird in a tree looks like some sort of dove, btw:-) - possibly a mourning dove.

We have been having thunder and rain since about 5 o'clock. It is kind of like line squalls going through with heavy gusts of wind which blows the sheets of rain sideways and soaks everything instantly, then it lets up for a bit and sort of drizzles, then another squall comes through. The little stray/abandoned cat that is living on our back porch showed back up just before it started to rain. She was trying to climb up under the patio table to a small little support area there but it couldn't hold her weight so I went to find something to lay across the leg supports that I could put a a shelf up there for her. It was raining really hard when I came back and she was no where in sight. I had made a sort of cubby hole for her which is in a plastic box protected from the rain but she doesn't seem to like it. After the rain let up I was looking out the window for her and low and behold she came out of the box! YAY! I have since made that little shelf for her too, and she is currently curled up on a towel on a chair with the patio umbrella up over top. It is keeping her dry for now but if that wind comes back I sure hope she races back for the box because she will get soaked otherwise. There has been some pretty serious lightning going on - enough to really make you feel cautious! And all this rain is really going to make that cucumber plant in the garden grow some more!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
