I like weekends because I don't have to share my hubby with his work.. only the computer and the TV :P but I have taken care of that this weekend

I hope you have fun on your trip!

We go away next week for a few days. :) Packing for myself is easy, packing for Kavi is hard!

Yeah good question! Ths stroller takes up the most room it seems, even when folded. We haven't had to take a play pen with us so far. When I went away with Kavi a couple months ago, a friend where I was going let me borrow her bassinet for Kavi. But he ended up sleeping in his stroller anyway.

I can't even imagine packing for going to India with Kavi. We hope to do that this winter, and if I let myself think about it already I get stressed out. We won't be able to bring anything big of course though. And in India, no car seats really I've heard...scary! But I guess the kids survive there. lol

Ooh, how long is she going for? And what are you going to do? Be on VJ even more? :P

6 weeks

i dont know!

wow 6 weeks is a long time!

maybe you should start scrap booking. (j/k)

Wow, Indian mothers take their babies to India?? I'm shocked! :o

I meant do you know anyone personally who might have talked about how the flight was, Mr! And how to bring all you need.

i dont know about the packing.

but i do know a friend who flew with his 1 yr old to india... they purposely planned it with 2 stops... once in europe and again in the middle east before reaching delhi... they said the stops helped...

also flying in an airline with child-friendly people is advised... european/american airlines suck in that respect.. how many threads have you seen here where people talk about how crying babies bother them? you'll never hear that kind of ####### from desis or middle easterners... more baby friendly cultures... i recommend air india or emirates...
