Oh, I'm straight up southern for sure. I hate to hear myself talking. I have such a horrible accent.

But I still think Southern accents are sweet. I'm biased but, w/e

When I met P's family I was limited to "hallo" "das ist sehr gut" "dankeschoen" and "nein, danke." I can understand German very well, I just can't speak it well. Must work on that before the church wedding....

Jules is so weird. She doesn't sound German at all. I don't know what she sounds like though. I will think on it.

It really depends who I talk to. With Americans my accent is more American, with Brits it gets super British/posh and according to the Aussie customers in the cafe where I used to waitress, I sound like an Irish trying to pull off an Aussie accent. Then some Americans say I have a Southeren accent.

In the end, all that matters to me is that they can't guess that German is my mother tongue

I love it when P tries to talk with a southern accent. His English is excellent, because he lived in the US for 6 years but he sometimes has a weird Scottish way of pronouncing words. No idea where that came from. Like "early" he says "eeeeeeerleeee"

You should hear Javi speaking english. He has his spanish accent but he's learned english from me so he says things the way I do. It's hilarious to hear him talk sometimes. He has a southern spanish accent. I love it!
