southern indigestion

Ooooo my friend my friend....you haven't HAD indigestion until you have eaten at the Varsity. If you're ever in Atlanta (downtown) you will have to try their two chili dawgs and fries combo...and I heartily recommend you bring a large bottle of Tums.

Although, I have to admit...southern food can be very unpleasant the second time around (i.e. heartburn, butt burn...whatever)

I feel sorry for my sister because indigestion to her is eating anything. She doesn't have anything stopping the acid from her stomach coming up into her esophagus. She uses this stuff that I saw at Wal-Mart about a month ago and thinks it works better than anything else.\

I can't remember what the hell it's called. I just tried looking for it online, but no luck. It comes in 3 different flavors: strawberry cream, orange cream and chocolate cream. It's a cream type stuff ina tube and has the consistency of yogurt. I'll figure out the name of it.

She's doing better because she can eat BUT she didn't have enough stomach to put a flap over her esophagus. My understand is that the acid can just come back up because her esophagus is just open into the stomach since the muscles are relaxed. I know she can't sleep laying completely flat anymore because stuff will come up into her esophagus.

She will always have it. She might have to have the surgery again in 1yr, 5yrs, 20yrs, never again. They just don't know! Also, she's so young they really have no clue because normally it happens between the ages of 25-40. It's so rare we really just have to wing it.

My dad used to force me to eat liver because it's rich in iron it tastes nasty.

good, then i don't have to worry about you cooking it.

if I did like it I'd just hide mixing with other food you like, just like I've been doing with other food that you don't like and they give a special flavor that you will never know about it.

I like ketchup on french fries!

I know, how excruciatingly ordinary.

I like ranch dressing and mayo on my fries. Not at the same time though. I usually only eat ketchup on my hash browns. I only have hash browns for breakfast when we eat out so that's not very often.

I only have ketchup with burgers, hot dogs or french fries (i like to make a mix of ketchup and mayo, it becomes a delicious pink sauce )
