Hi kids!

I am just enjoying a nice cup of coffee myself. I have been busy socialising and chatting with my colleagues - nothing better than a nice office gossip session! Called a couple of friends for a chat, had lunch, scheduled a couple of appointments for myself (blood test at my GM, denstist etc.). Now that my boss is on vacation, I might as well use the time to go and see a few doctors.

I came in late today, because I had an appointment with my optician - my eyes got worse again (-6.00 on each eye) with glasses now. I am going to get new contact lenses this Friday - the curent model I am wearing is apparently totally outdated and I will get some high tech, super thin lenses to try.

Other than that, nothing spectacular over here. Soccer tomorrow, that should be fun. We are going to the pub and I know I will have a few stories to tell afterwards - it will certainly get ugly!

be careful of the English hooligans at the pub, they are like flies, they are everywhere during a soccer/futbol tournament

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Should I wear protective gear? Helmet? Padding?

I don't think there will be any English hooligans, since it's not an Irish pub, just a German one :P I am more afraid of the turkish guys getting angry if they might lose. I look so freaking German, I am afraid I get bashed on the way home!

Heya Ness! Welcome back. Can't say you missed out on much!

Where is Marilyn?

I just returned from a quick shopping fix at H&M and bought a pair of dark blue boot cut jeans, green 3/4 sweats and a plain black top to wear with my skirt suits. I love H&M - so cheap and great stuff. After the shopping I treated myseld to some red Thai curry with chicken and veggies.

Oh damn - and as I am typing I realise I bought a nice bottle of sauvignon blanc to go with it and now my dinner is in my belly and the bottle still in my purse. I am such an alkie!

I don't mean to make it sound like I brag about my job being easy peasy at the moment, because it actually DOES make me really unhappy, so please don't get me wrong when I say this. I did realise today, that I really get paid for surfing VJ at the moment, as it is what I do most of the day at work. This is just not right. I miss the weeks where I used to work 60 hrs. a week and had my own projects. Others would be happy to sit there and do their nails while chatting to their friends on the phone and ordering stuff on amazon. Not me. :crying: And the banking crisis is not (ain't) over yet - I am sure it will drag all the way into 2009. I just have to hang in there - changing jobs now would be stupid; last in, first out.

I am here and there... trying to get stuff together for our camping trip this weekend.. and cleaned my floors which were in desperate need of some attention .. I didn't do a perfect job but they are better then they were before :P... I really wish some of my mom's cleanliness had rubbed off on me... :P and before you get any ideas I am not a total pig.. just a few things I despise doing like cleaning the floors...

and now I am off to the laundromat to do a load of laundry.. hubby needs work shirts cleaned.. they had to get him new shirts because the ones they got him didn't fit right.. so I have to wash the 3 t-shirts they gave him to wear while the others ones are being ordered :P

I like having a car now but it has its downside too.. I have easier access to the stores... :P yesterday I spent 60 bucks at the dollar store picking up camping stuff... I did get a lot of stuff for 60 bucks though
