Oh, I know that feeling. Often happens to me when I talk. I talk faster than my brain thinks.

Yes, happens to me all the time. I also have the "In your head, out your mouth disease". You know, when your brain thinks something it just comes out your mouth before you can stop it. Yeah, not always a good thing. I have a real issue with keeping things to myself, especially when someone has pi$$ed me off. It amazes me how well I do on here. I'm surprised I haven't gotten myself a ban or two.

Sorry Julia, I think you'll lose this argument with Pedro. Ain't is a regular word here in the south.

That's ok, I can live with people saying ain't. Just makes me cringe when I read it.

One more hour and I can go home

I don't think I type it very much. I know I've typed it some but more often just use it when speaking. Ain't that a trip.  Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Ain't no biggie (aww got to love the double negative :P ). My English is far away from being flawless, so who am I to criticise native speakers.

  I used to think ain't was just a word we used around here but I see it being used more and more. It really isn't a great word to use. I do find myself using it at times and wishing I hadn't. I'm sure that's not the only word I use that I shouldn't. Coming from the mountains of NC we tend to use words a little differently than most. :D
