It means you can't churn loads of air into it. It can't be called ice cream if it has too much air in it. It has to be that much milk fat/solids and the rest can be air. That's why when ice cream melts a whole bowl turns into almost nothing.

So volumewise, good ice cream should melt into what proportion of its original volume?

eta: The ice creams that are more expensive have less air in them so you're paying for more real ingredients and not air

all has some air in it but the better quality the less air it has in it. that's why different types tasted different. like the cheap stuff kinda tastes grainy, the more expensive it is the smoother it normally is.

i like 2 ice cream of that brand and i just bought one today which is banana nut (u know im crazy about nuts ). I also like the pineapple and coconut one.

yeah theres an italian bakery near me with the best banana nut muffins

i tried a banana nut muffin at my work cafeteria though, and it was nasty. they sprinkled sugar on top You could taste the sugar.
