Yeah, that's what happened to me. I was fine before I got behind some dumb@ss on the way to work that refused to go over 40 mph. The main reason it sucks is because my commute to work is on a two lane road the en-fcuking-tire time. It's so busy it's virtually impossible to pass even when there is a passing zone. Plus, I was the fourth car behind him anyway so it's not like I could have passed if I'd wanted too. It made me late for work, just by about 5 minutes. Which isn't a big deal but the mail guy stopped me on my way in to ask me some questions. I didn't get to my office until 15 after. As I walked in my boss gave me one of those looks. I don't think it's even worth it to try and explain that I was here I was just downstairs talking to the mail guy.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Cheer up, buttercup!

Time should not be wasted with being grumpy, try to shake it off - you being pissed off is not changing anything about the situation and just makes the time for you miserable (L) I do understand that you are pissed off about it though, don't get me wrong!

I am still sick with terrible migrane style headache. I have PMS and crave bad food. Plus it was full moon last night. But other than that, I am all good. Might give in on the bad food thing tonight.

Spoke to the breast/ovarian cancer clinic today and might be able to join their genetic study on breast/ ovarian cancer. Mom had her first breast and ovarian cancer when she was 35 and I am turning 30 soon, so I thought it would be good to get the genetical test done. They are going to send me a brochure and then I am going to schedule an appointment at the clinic to see if I can join the program. The only thing is - do I really want to know if I have the genetical fukc up and will get cancer for sure? If I do have it, what am I going to do? Nothing really. Maybe just be even more careful with regular check ups.

I think that's how it is at every job. Except at Julia's because I think her boss rocks. I wish I had a cool boss. I've never, ever had a cool boss. I've had more jobs than I'd like to mention and always gotten stuck with suck @ss bosses.

My boss? Really?

I have spent all day finding a hotel in Fort Lauderdale by the sea for him and the family from July 5th - July 11th. Of course everything is fully booked because of 4th of July :bonk: And his picky wife doesn't like any of my suggestions  Why do they always leave it to the last minute??

I thought you liked your boss. Maybe I was wrong. I don't know why they do that but they do. Mine did the same thing when I dealt with travel. Thankfully they hired someone to do all the travel for the whole building so I don't have to do it anymore.

I understand what you said in your above post about being miserable. I have this uncanny ability to make myself miserable sometimes. I'm feeling better now. I have PMS too so I think that has something to do with it. I'll shake it off eventually.

I woke up late today. I am working from my couch while watching reruns of Colbert

My company just switched to an employee empowerment style of management our work group makes all the decisions of how we want to do our jobs.

Employee empowerment is often viewed as an inverted triangle of organizational power. In the traditional view, management is at the top while customers are on the bottom; in an empowered environment, customers are at the top while management is in a support role at the bottom.
