Hi all... seat sale is now gone on the returning flight the day (total flight is $1195.60) of our interview so we can fly back home the next day at a cheaper rate ($994.00) but need to find a cheap hotel room as we're only sleeping there (my son & myself)...the flight leaves really early the next morning...Days Inn has a minimum charge of $231 for a basic room...I am not familiar at all with Vancouver so we need something close to the Consulate...maybe should just sleep at the airport! ugh! any help would be greatly appreciated...thank you!

I had my interview in van.. and we stayed at the barclay hotel on robson street. it was about 20 minute walk to get to the consulate.. but it was only like 59/night.... It was a crappy hotel, but if you just need a shower, a toilet, and a bed then its a good deal. i think the website is : http://www.barclayhotel.com/
