Good morning everyone! it has been a while since I posted and I miss it. Having dial up sucks and takes too long!!!! Hope everyone is doing well. My latest update is that I am officially off this ride and filing for divorce in July. Rida wants nothing to do with his son and is more worried about himself. His parents would kringe if they new he was like this and all the lies he has told Anyway...I am hoping that once we upgrade, I will be on more often. It should be interesting to see how things go with USCIS now that we are getting divorced.

Jen - I hope you have a wonderful trip! Have fun and be safe.

nawal I can't wait to see pictures!!!! Good luck!!!!

My husband got his EAD card in the mail yesterday!!! :dance::dance::dance: It was funny 'cause even though I didn't have the kids last night my youngest still came home to wait for her stepmom to pick her up. I was at work and so it was just her and my hubby hanging out at home. Well when I got home I saw a pile of mail. I guess she took it in and he didn't see it and there it was, the envelope with his name on it! ALL that day he was kinda bummed 'cause he is sooooooo bored and he even said when I walked in that his patience is running out and then BAM we found the card alhumdulilah!!!! He's going today to the Soc Sec office and *hopefully* they will give him his number even though he cannot get the card yet. I have heard on the working before green card forum that they can do this. I hope so because about 6 online applications are hanging in limbo waiting on that precious SS #!!!! Times have sure changed because I don't ever remember having to give that out until I actually got hired!

Anyways I'm glad I have a super duper happy hubby today!!! :)

Of course now I suddenly have that first twinge of a sore throat so now I'm worried I will get sick at the start of the trip. I sucked on a zinc lozenge, ate some vitamins, and loaded up on water, fruits, and veggies. HELP! What else can I quickly do to get this handled before I end up with a full blown cold!? :crying:

Okay happy hump day everyone!

Get a box of those E-Mergen-C packets and start downing them. I also really find it helpful to make a "tea" of just hot water, lemon & fresh ginger. Hope it goes away and you enjoy your trip!

Nawal, I'm sure you're at the hospital by now, but best of luck to you! H will be here tomorrow and your world will be complete! I wanted to get online and chat w/ you last nite, but I passed out on the sofa trying to burn a cd :wacko: . Oh well, when you get back....

Morning everyone!

I've been crazy busy and feel guilty for any time I use for VJ, but a girl's gotta get her fix :blush:

My husband decided to start a heavy equipment (bulldozers, ect) export buisness back to Egypt, and guess who gets to do all the paperwork :bonk: but we have agreed that he will take English classes when he comes back from Egypt in July. He leaves for Egypt in a week, and honestly, I have mixed feelings.... part of me is happy because I am a full-time student, full-time employee, and now have to help him start his buiness :dead: - I'm tapped out... on the other hand, I know I will miss my habbibi :blush:

Sereia - Have a safe trip - enjoy :thumbs:

Nawal - Can't wait to see the baby pics :dance: and I can't imagine how excited you are to get to meet your twins and be reuinited with your husband in such a short period of time :dance:

Congrats Bridget! I hope your husband gets to start working soon. Hopefully the card will give a little bit of a boost until then :thumbs:

Wised up too late - his lose and big hugs to you (L) I wish a wonderful future for you and your son.

Charles - that's alot of camels :blink::P

Everyone else - Happy Hump Day!
