When your last updated date has changed on the USCIS website, it means you have had a touch.

Application Type: I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

On January 18, 2008,

So other than that it's never been touched?

meaning NOA2 is no where on the horizon because they've never even picked the mutha up.

I can understand what you're going through. I had this problem too...

Once you register on the USCIS website, try logining in and then you'd come to a page that would say 'Portfolio'. You would have to add your receipt number to that portfolio and once added, you will get to see the date change and that change in date on the portfolio page would been that it was touched. Every time your file will be reviewed or moved...it will show the date that happened. Thus, Touched!

The other page...which you get to after putting your receipt number on the main page will stay that way and show case as pending till you get your NOA2. Check portfolio for touches.

My Timeline

Do you sign in with a user name and password? Or do you just enter the case number? In order to see the last updated part that we are talking about, you have to sign up using a uername and password. It will show your portfolio where you can add case numbers to it. Once you add the case number it will show up in your portfolio and you will see at the top of the portfolio "Case number" "Last Updated" etc... When you look at the last updated part of the portfolio it will have a date, like mine surrently says 5/19/2008... So last Monday they did something with my case, what they did I have no idea because it still says pending when I click on the case number.

This is the CR1/IR1 forum, and the processing is very different to K1's.

The only processing Vermont is doing, and has been for months is the K1'sand H1-B's ... hence you're stuck in the mode that Vermont is fast.

On this forum we scowl at VSC!! and throw rotten tomatoes at them .... to us they are nothing but a bunch of useless idiots who keep established families apart.

For us currently .... everyone would love to move to the CSC catchment area ..... fast approvals, 'for once', for the CR1/IR1's.

When CSC slows down again, 'everyone' will go back to moaning about the K1's again

OK... that was again some good info. got online and it was "touched" today... i think to put it in the system so I can see it ... but any movement in my book is good.
