Hi

My K1 visa will expire on 31st decemebr and i m plannign to go to US on 15th December.

Will it be ok if i get married in US after 31st december and apply for AOS or all this has to be done before my K1 expires

Please advise

your visa is valid until dec 31. when you get here on dec 15 the visa is activated, then the 90 days starts to get married & i don't think there is a time requirment to file AOS. its recommended to file asap to avoid delays in processing. worst case if you don't file AOS within the 90 days. you'd be out of status, but still in the country legally as long as you do get married within the 90 days.
