I got the NOA1 for the form I-130 for my husband and i got a code starting with EAC and everytime i try checking the status on the website it says there is a problem with the code i entered?? I've checked the code i'm entering to make sure it is correctly written numerous times but still the same problem --- and my husband is having the same thing happen when he tries it too.

Is this typical of the CASE STATUS check online....i just got the NOA1 within the past few days? :help:

I guess my only other option is to contact the customer service center?? That should be fun!

Don't panic yet! When I got my NOA! it took atleast a week or more before I was able to check the status on line! Try again everyday but soon you should see it.

Thank-you to both of you for taking a moment to reply to my  worries! Ahem... so I'm going to try to just relax a bit now and see what happens in the next couple of days - and hopefully one of these times the lovely code will work!

By the way... I'd just like to say that it's really so great to have this site available so that we are able to voice our concerns and share our experiences with one another during this process!

Peace and blessings :)

it's amazing how random their online system is...to give an example, when i got naturalized after passing my test, i was hoping the status change to approved, but the online system still shows 'pending' and a last update of 6/16/2007 (I was naturalized early this year).

for the I-130 and I-129F apps, the status appeared online immediately after I received my NOA1s

I hope that one fine day, when I am not expecting, the inconsistency surprises me by the NOA2s in the snail mail.

there is a bright side to everything...
