According to the following link, only 200 cigs which is like 10 packs or one carton? Taxes on any addtional which would defeat the purpose? A better idea would be to save a lot more money by not smoking. At $3-$4 a pack, that's a lot of money per year even at 1/2 pack/day. I smoked a few times when I was around 6 yo but it didn't take long to figure out it wasn't a good idea.

my mom brings in cig from india or where ever we have just came from but what she does is she purchase two cartoons opens one of them and sticks a few packs in her purse the rest in luggage but when ur immigrating i dont think i would take the chance at getting caught with them in customs better probably to just stick to a cartoon........
