No its not that expensive its under $500. Cannot remember the specific amount though. Congrats

Well still nada here.. no touches since 7/11, not transferred to CSC and nothing in the mail for an interview yet..

I filed last June 19 and my case was received June 23. I had my Bio last July 25 and got an RFE on the same day. We responded on the RFE and they received it Aug 14. Since then I have not received anything from them. I got a job offer and could not officially start because of my pending EAD. I scheduled an infopass last Tuesday and told them I need to expedite my EAD. And also, in 3 days time, it will be 90 days since I filed for my EAD. The immigration officer then gave me a 4 letter code and was told to call the USCIS hotline.

I then called the hotline and reached the "expedite your case"option. I talked to a rep who then transfered me to a manager. The manager was confused because she said the local office should have processed it already. And that she does not honor the 4 letter code given to me. I explained to her that in 3 days my case will be pendiong for 90 days already and that I have a job offer but could not strat working becauase of my EAD. She then put me on hold for about 5 minutes, when she got back on the line, she gave me confirmation code that my card has been processed on the same day, the code that was given to me was a WTCxxxxxxxxxxMSC. She said she order card production on that same day and will be in my mail box within 5 business day. I just called the hotliune again today to confirm qand gave them my confirmation code and was advice card should be on its way.

So my advice is that either you get an info pass appointment or call the hotline number. I hope this helps.

thanks for your response. So far we've done well on the AP/EAD front (we have both) but the AOS is the one thing that hasn't been touched...

Just received the e-mail from CRIS saying that they sent the request for additional evidence today. I can't wait to know what it is!

So I tried to make an infopass appt today so I can see wth is happening with my EAD...and....I COULDN'T!!!! the message w/ "page can not be displayed was coming right up"...caled USCIS and told me their system is down! Isn't that convenient????!!! So now I have to wait until Monday and try again(we'll be gone for the w-end)

I was curious about this too - from everything I read, if you don't file to remove conditions you'll lose your Green Card and thus be ineligible for naturalization. So you gotta go through the i-751 process.

hello ,, i m realy getting worried ,, i did not have a touch on my aos since july 15 the day of biometric ,, my noa date is 20 june ,,, in 2 days oys gonna be 90 days since filling ,, i dont know what to do or to think ,, i just wish my case is not deffirent than most of u guys ,,, i already have my ead i got it on december 2007 ,, i did not fil aps till june this year ,, anyway i m praying my aos will get touch soon or get an interviw letter or at least have sign of life do u guys think there is a little bit of more hope or should i try something else like calling them or schedul an infopass since 90 days from filling is gonna be in 2 days ?

Your AOS can take up to 2 years to be completed, and processed. It is only 90 days for them to authorize the EAD.

Your AOS can take up to 2 years to be completed, and processed. It is only 90 days for them to authorize the EAD.
