I received my rfe yesterday. They said my husband's medical is lost. They said it was not in the file which he crossed the border with. He said the border official opened the envelope had a checklist and stated everything was in order so it has been lost in the rigamarow. I called USCIS and asked if we could get the other medical from his doctor in Egypt and they said absolutely not. That he is now in the US, the medical should have been here and he has to go and have it redone, the entire medical check not just transferring the immunizations. We have only until 10/6 to do this. So, we made the appointment for next Tuesday. It will cost a minimum of 200.00. I am so upset because we just paid to have this done in February.

If you can get a copy of the medical from Egypt, do it and send it in response to the RFE.

I got the same RFE. I sent in a copy of the medical from DR and the receipts from the medical - the case was approved.

OR you can take it up with your congressman. They can contact USCIS on your behalf. You already paid for the medical exam and its not your fault that USCIS lost it...

I contacted my senators office and they stated that we should go ahead and get the physical redone. They have seen this before and most of the time it can not be relocated. It makes me crazy knowing it was lost and there is a trend of this starting.

Thanks God! I got my EAD last saturday in the mail but nothing on my AOS yet. Has anyone of you guys got their EAD but case hasn't tranfered to CSC? Congratulations to all those that got their EAD and Green cards and good luck to those who haven't yet.

Jewels... Kris got his EAD/AP in the mail and our case hasn't transfered. No touches on the AOS since the biometrics on 7/11.

Nada for me either... my last touch was on the same day as yours visao. Actually our timeline is a lot similar... makes me wonder "What the heck did they do touching our AOS on the 22nd and not taking any action afterwards??

ACTION please!

- Don't want to complain too much though, because at least I got the EAD.

Yes, a lot of us got touched on Aug 22nd, and I think there was only one person (EmpressM) got approved for GC...the rest of us are in limbo  I'm tired of checking email and uscis website for touches or update, but nada is happening. It's already been one month and a half since my AoS was transferred to Cali. I see other peeps got approved within a month from date of transfer. I guess we just have to keep hanging in there and something might happen this week; at least we're not getting RFE's

Be thankful you got your EAD. Those of us that filed in early June, still have seen NO action on our case whatsoever. You can at least work, where those of us who ahve not even recieved our EAD yet, are still stuck at home, relying on one income to support the family.

Sorry, don't take this as an attack, I am just really frustrated that USCIS says they process the cases in the order they recieve them, but from june 15th on they all have there EAD cards. Those of us that have filed in the begining of june, still have had no touches, no action, no nothing on our cases!!!!

I have, and been on the phone daily only to get the run around! I was told not to go to the info pass appointment, by Agent Peter, because it was 200 miles away, it was something that he could do over the phone. But it seems more then likely that It will end up with us going the 200 miles, cause we are not getting anywhere going this way. They are not responding to the service requests that were filled out, and I have given the agents on the phone a peicie of my mind, each and everytime they tell me I just have to wait!

My husband used to get sooooo frustrated whenever he called USCIS... then when I was here in April (and hadn't gotten an NOA2 yet - almost 180 days!) the plan was to just keep calling until we found someone that was actually willing to do their job! Luckily for us, that happened on the 2nd call! If you're over 90 days, keep calling & calling & calling...seriously, not like we're working or anything...you have lots of time to be on the phone...do NOT give up! There's TONS of agents answering the phones, DO NOT settle!! Good luck everyone!!
