Today I have received following e-mail from CRIS:

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On September 9, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

It does not seem unusual but I already received the same email on September 4th saying that my card production was ordered on September 4th.

I'm confused. Did anyone have similar experience?

Also, I didn't have any AOS updates since RFE notice (July 18th), but I guess USCIS like to take their time...

You usually get 2 or 3 of the Card Production ordered email, the last one is significant, tells that the card has been mailed out... I have noticed that everyone who posts the 2nd card production order response, gets their EAD card in the mail 2 to 3 days after posting it. So I would wait 2 to 3 days, and expect your EAD card in hand.. Congrats by the way.

I got an email this morning stating that USCIS received the RFE info and that the case had resumed.

I just checked my mail when i got home and .....

Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

YAY!!!

I am so glad to be done with immigration for the next couple of years!!!!

is there anybody here who did not have the addtional shots for his medical here in the us and did not recieve a RFE yet ? just curious ....any ansswer will be so appreciated...

I didn't have any additional shots in the US and I didn't get an RFE I just sent my copy of the Medical I did when I went to get my K1 Visa

Jen got her EAD card yesterday. I guess green card is next. She's glad she can finally get out of the house and find work, something to do......

Question.. if you have to have an interview and to those of you who've received your interview letter... did you have any touches beforehand?? Just curious

I did not get any kind of touch since my Biometrics and i recieved an interview notice!

So I was out today for a while...got back home...nothing in the mailbox..get in the house..check status online -they notify me that my password is expiring..set a new one..get in the portoflio : no changes...

open my e-mail and my heart stopped for a second...e-mail from CRIS...open the e-mail..just notifying me that I changed my password...

this day sucked to bad!!!!

So I was out today for a while...got back home...nothing in the mailbox..get in the house..check status online -they notify me that my password is expiring..set a new one..get in the portoflio : no changes...

open my e-mail and my heart stopped for a second...e-mail from CRIS...open the e-mail..just notifying me that I changed my password...

this day sucked to bad!!!!

ohhh myyyyy god ,, thats funnyyyyyyyyy ,,, the same thing could happen to me today too cause they kept asking me to change my password each time i want to log in my portofilio but i just hit the button change the password later ,,, he h e he ,,, sometimes i think maybe if i change my password they will be happy with me and start working on my case ,,it been sitting there since 20 th of june ,, and i m the one who did that only touch on it the 15th of july when i did my finger prents ,, i feeell sooo neglected by uscis

hehe..same here..my case was received on the 20th of June as well..next week on the 18th will be 90 days and I will call them...at least to get my EAD no touches on mine either since the bio...

hehe..same here..my case was received on the 20th of June as well..next week on the 18th will be 90 days and I will call them...at least to get my EAD no touches on mine either since the bio...

well ,, i think the only information they will provide for u when u call them is the same u read each time you check your case status online ,, they ask your reciept number then they will read for u what your case status says again,, i did call them more then twice and i hear the same thing but the only therapy i hear from them is that my case is in the normal processing time ,,and also for the uscis the procesing time for aos for k1 and k3 holders is beteen 6 and 12 months ,,, so if u call and say i have been waiting for 3 month or 4 months or even 6 months they will be like : your case is in the normal processing time ,,,, the timelines they provide r comletely deffirent from what we see here in this forum ,, like the last time i callled them they told they r still working on cases of december 2007 ,, so i have to expect something withing the next 4 or 5 month ,, duaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh

take is easy ,, u got your EAD ,, what do need a green card for now ,, ? what i see it wont change anything if u have it now that u got your EAD . forget it for now ,, it will be a good supprise when u find it in the mail oneday
