So TODAY, we just got the email saying our EAD has been approved. Can't wait to check the mail today!

Wow this thread got really exciting this past week! Congrats to all who've got AP/EAD/GC on the way... and stay patient and encouraged those who are still waiting! I have AP and EAD in hand, so the GC is less vital right now but it would be so nice to have it anyway so I can forget about USCIS for a while! :)

Ours does. Your "DHS Authorization" is your EAD or Green Card. Now that you have your green card, I belive that you can go back to the SS office and have that removed if you want to??

Ours does. Your "DHS Authorization" is your EAD or Green Card. Now that you have your green card, I belive that you can go back to the SS office and have that removed if you want to??

Yes, my SSC does have that notation on it; and yes, the authorization is my EAD. I'm not going to bother getting my SS card changed. If it works fine like this then great... no need to add yet another visit to the SS office and spend more money on gas!
