AOS june 2008 filer

i'm just wondering, i was on a tourist visa then overstayed for 9 yrs then my husband's petitioning me as of now...i know that i'm not k1 or k3..where does my case falls under? is it just adjustment of status? or there's a category for it?hehe sorry..

just curious..your not k1/k3? right? so we are on the same situation? UHMMM...u filed almost a month before me..so i should be expecting for the interview letter on october..

I'm on an F1 visa as a student. So yeah we're in the same situation as we're filing to adjust status from inside the US.

I have no idea how they go about sending out the interview letters but keep checking your mailbox, there's no method to their madness.

yes, great news. We got a "card production ordered" email today for I-485 with no previous notice of approval, no EAD or AP received/touched/notified...weird. Not complaining though

I had RFE for AOS. I believe it affected EAD, too. Anyway, I am happy it didn't take longer.

My husband's EAD was approved yesterday as well. We got the email notification. Plus it's been touched again today; maybe that means they ordered the card and we'll receive it soon.

Hi, everyone. . .

Pls. I need some light for my cloudy mind. I received my green card September 2, 2008. When i check it to verify that the information is correct. I found out it has an ERROR with my Middle name. was lacking one last letter of my middle name is "s".

Q:

How can i correct this error?

Is this is not a Big Deal?

Do you have a USCIS contact number with a real human voice and not an machine operator?

Pls. any help would be amazing!

Any update on this case? Did you call anyone? I really don't know how to help you. Did you check to make sure that it was their mistake? Check your copy of the documents and make sure you wrote everything correctly, as far as i know if it was your mistake then i think there is a fee... someone please correct me if i'm wrong.

I am still waiting on my wife's green card.... i hope if not this week that next week we could see some action on our petition.
