AOS june 2008 filer

Hi,

Received a letter in the mail today inviting my wife and I for an interview on September 29th in San Francisco. This is pretty lucky as our 2yr wedding anniversary is on September 23rd so we should be in line for a 10yr GC. There were no touches on the I-485 or I-130 since the biometrics appointment so this was a bit of a surprise.

hi chris , i did not have any touch on my i485 since the biometrics eirther ,, that was july 15th as i m a on a k3 visa i m expecting an interview lettre pretty soon ,, and the me aloso my 2 yr wedding anniversary is on september 9 that means if the gc gets aproved aftert that i will be qualified for a 10 yr gc ,, i just want to know if u r on k3 too ,, and i want to know your time lines so i can estimate when im getting my interviw letter .. thanks

Great news!!! Congrats to you! You'd posted you were an H1 right? I'm glad to see its not just the K1s that are getting quick processing & interviews.

Perfect timing on your appointment. I'm hoping for an early Nov appt so we can get the 10yr GC too (2nd anniversary end of Oct).

So.. any good news today? Congratz to those who've gotten their GC/EAD/AP. Seems like most of the June filers got transfered. Just a few of us that didn't.

yes, great news. We got a "card production ordered" email today for I-485 with no previous notice of approval, no EAD or AP received/touched/notified...weird. Not complaining though

Yep, adjusting from a H1-B to GC. Looking at the VJ timelines, I wasn't expecting to get an interview scheduled until the end of October.

i'm just wondering, i was on a tourist visa then overstayed for 9 yrs then my husband's petitioning me as of now...i know that i'm not k1 or k3..where does my case falls under? is it just adjustment of status? or there's a category for it?hehe sorry..

just curious..your not k1/k3? right? so we are on the same situation? UHMMM...u filed almost a month before me..so i should be expecting for the interview letter on october..
