I found the following format in the "Removing Conditions" forum. It's very helpful and clear to use this type of formatting to ensure clear, organized listing of your progress. Hope you guys use it:

We mailed our AOS papers on the 4th through US Postal Service. Certified with tracking and the postoffice had no tracking on it and still showed as not delivered.

However the check was cleared by USCIS on 16th so I feel a bit more comfortable now. Waiting for the NOA from USCIS.

My advice based on recent US POstoffice experience is. Go with Fed Ex or UPS with proper Tracking at every step.

I-94 replacement fees are around $350 is US post office looses it.

I was also told by US post office that they will not investigate untill 30 days past the date the mail was sent.

Received NOA's for I-485 and I-765 in the mail today June 16, 08 (Notice Date was June 12, 08). Have not got Biometrics Appoinment yet, letters said they will schedule :)

Cases' status available online at USCIS on June 17, 08. :dance:

11-16-12: Sent I-130 for Dad.
11-19-12: Priority date/rec'd date.
02-06-13: Case approved, NOA2.
02-19-13: NVC received case.
03-08-13: Case # assigned--HCM2013******.
03-09-13: Paid AOS Fee $88.00.
03-09-13: Emailed DS-3032 from Beneficiary's email address.
03-13-13: AOS Fee showed as PAID & sent AOS package certified mail.
03-18-13: AOS package delivered @ 10:50 A.M.
03-18-13: DS-3032 accepted.
03-20-13: IV Bill Invoice.
03-21-13: Paid IV Fee $230.00.
03-23-13: IV Fee showed as PAID.
04-23-13: Sent IV package certified mail.
04-26-13: IV package delivered @ 11:13 A.M.

05-08-13: Case completed @ NVC per telephone call.

05-15-15: Case completed per email from NVC.

06-07-13: Rec'd email from NVC RE: interview date. (letter dated 06-05-13).

-received Biometrics appt letter on June 13th...appt for July 2nd @ 8am in St Paul, MN

QUESTION: I have the receipt #'s for my forms and I can't track them on USCIS...how long does it take them get the numbers online generally?...anyone know from experience?...
