Guys Really good news I just checked my mail today and got....... "Welcome to the United States of America" I checked the status online and nothing was there. Its still pending. It was approved since the 18th which was the first touch date. So you other guys that were touched twice most likely were approved too. Thank GOD...I feel so good.....

One Dumb question...They had send me a Letter requesting me to show up for an Appointment to take my biometrics for my EAD. The notice also states that if I don't show up the case will be Cancelled. Should I go to this Biometrics appointment just to make sure it causes no issues come 2 years time? Because aren't these files processed in the same location? They should know what was and what wasn't approved...

Well just got of the phone with USCIS they said that my production card was ordered today.

Great news! Congratulations! Since your AoS already was approved and card was ordered, you won't need your EAD card anymore. Also your AoS NOA was 06/24/08 and you got approved on 08/18/08, pretty fast there; you beat me :D My NOA is June 12th, 08 and still waiting here. Hope your GC will come soon & good luck w/ everything! :luv:

Good day all,

:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance: Good news! :dance: My EAD card just magically appeared in the mail today. I did not receive any CRIS email nor update from USCIS website at all. I-765 still shows as pending :wacko: . So I guess the approved date on my I-765 was the date card valid from August 16, 2008. Thank God! Thanks all you lovely people for your support & good luck to all! :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

Thanks a lot August month has been a tough 1 for me my mom died on the 08/05 after being up here for 7 years and I only got to spend 4 days with her....But on the other hand i know she is watching over me and she is so happy now that I can better myself and I will definately make her proud. We gotta do that everyone...we get an opportunity that a lot of people that are here illegially want. Stick to your SO we all have went through a lot to get here make the best of this opportunity...

I JUST GOT MY EAD !

again I got it in the mail as a sweet surprise ;)

(I knew it was coming when I got that approved AP in the mail with no e-mail notice :thumbs: )

Now I have to star looking for a job and all and get my life back on track again.... Niiiiiice !

i wasn't transfered, didn't get anything approved and no touches for the last month :(

Oh my fellow brazilian... I know it sounds like cliche but honestly just try to hang in there bc THEY HAVE to get to it and get your papers done.

Also remember that the worst part is getting the freaking K-1 approved.... this waiting for the GC is bananas for us we can do it! since now we are not appart from out better-half anymore :)

congratulaion to all june filers who recieved their GC or EAD and even to those who got transfered or got touches recently , :dance:

my biometrics was done july 15 , and i still got no touch or anything ,, now i m worried i might got an RFE and did not get it in the mail ,,so my question is when the uscis send a RFE does that show on the case status online or not ? or do they send an email ? i wish they did not request any evidence that would be great to know that my case is a go and its just a quetion of waiting ,, -_-

Hi there! Some received RFE before biometrics, after biometrics or even after case was transferred to CSC, so it all depends. And yes , most of the time you will see it updated on your case status online , email will be send to you too and they will send it via snail mail too. HOping that you won't have any..and me too hehe. GOod luck and God bless :thumbs:
