Hi all:

I got an email from CRIS at 9:00 AM today (they're working on a Saturday :unsure: ) that my AoS has arrived at CSC. So happy now I was worried that it got lost :) Thanks all for your replies re: this issue I was posting previously (F) .

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now pending standard processing at a USCIS office. Hey Guys congrats to KJW for getting your EAD approved. Well the USCIS had lost my EAD they had me resubmit them they rejected that one because I had the incorrect form. I then resubmitted last week Wednesday got some bitter sweet news my mom died on Tuesday in NY and I got a letter from the USCIS stating that they have expedited my AOS so i guess they won't expedite my EAD but instead expedite my AOS. So I hope I get that approval soon as I have to fly back home to my home country to honor some of my mom wishes.

I'm sorry to hear about your mother, EmpressM. I hope you get your AP/GC quickly so you are able to visit your home country.

06/09/2008 - finally sent package!

06/19/2008 - NOA received - I-485, I-130, I-765

09/14/2008 - 90 days since NOA, no news about my EAD.

09/15/2008 - Called USCIS, no holds on my case, they made an inquiry on my EAD.

09/20/2008 - Got a letter saying they are working on my I-765 actively and there's nothing they could do, I have to wait for 6 more months till I'm "out of the" timeline again GRRRRRRRRRRR

09/25/2008 - Infopass appt.

Question for you...I was an early June filer like you. Did you have many touches before the EAD? I haven't had a touch since 7/7 - just after my biometrics of 7/3..
